Photography & Post-production

Tools used: Lightroom.Photoshop.Midjourney
This collection mostly showcases my work for Blue Button Shop Toronto, where I combined photography, design, and digital media to support their e-commerce and campaign efforts. I handled product and model photography, retouching, and background keying for a polished look on the website. Additionally, I worked on seasonal campaigns, helping direct models and create visual content for social media. My role included designing weekly e-newsletters and creating simple web pages for special promotions, each piece crafted to enhance the brand’s online presence and engage their audience.

Product Photo Retouching & Compositing

Photo editing

Product photo retouching using manual Photoshop techniques. I work with tools such as patching, dodge & burn, and frequency separation to refine textures, correct imperfections, and remove distractions while keeping a natural look. In addition to e-commerce cleanup and color matching, I also take on compositing projects, rebuilding forms, blending new elements, or creating clean backgrounds, to deliver images that are polished, consistent, and brand-ready for catalogs and marketing.

Retouching projects

Step 1 - Edited RAW photos and matched colors to branding.
Step 2 - Removed dust and distractions with touch-ups.
Finished product - Isolated on white background, keeping natural shadow.
Step 1 - Corrected shape irregularities with patch tool and seamless blending.
Step 2 - Cleaned dust and distractions using frequency separation and content-aware fill.
Finished product - Isolated product on white background, retaining natural shadows with curve adjustments.
Compositing projects
Step 1 - Selected products shot at matching angles for multi-color line presentation.
Step 2 - Applied color correction, dust cleanup, background isolation, and composited items with perspective alignment.
Finished product- Added subtle cast shadows and field blur for a natural, depth-enhanced look.
Step 1 - Corrected exposure and contrast to recover detail and give the aprons a natural, consistent appearance.
Step 2 - Resized, silhouetted, and composited the cutouts to create a layered, stacked look with depth.
Finished product - Added artificial shadows and subtle field blur, shifting perspective so the aprons appear laid out on a professional shooting table.

How to style series

Blue Button Shop’s “How to Style” project highlights curated product pairings, showing customers how to mix and match items for a complete look. Aimed at driving sales and boosting engagement, each installment showcases styling tips that combine featured pieces with other items from Blue Button. In this project, I took on multiple roles—art directing models and their poses, handling post-production and photo retouching, and designing a simple, engaging web page to present the content through Blue Button’s internal blog system.

Style Coordination

Photography . Graphic design . Photo editing
In the “Style Coordination” series for Blue Button Shop, I focused on capturing outfits in a way that lets customers imagine themselves in the looks presented. My role involved photographing each outfit with a carefully crafted lighting setup to create a unique, almost dramatic tone that blends 2D and 3D qualities. After shooting, I handled post-production, retouching, and editing to ensure each piece looked polished and engaging. I then created multiple formats—web, Instagram post, and Instagram story—tailoring each for optimal presentation across platforms.
